When our client was ready to get out of a rental unit for good, they came to Aerial Management to collaborate on a custom home plan that matched their family’s wants and needs. Our team was happy to create a custom floor plan and detached garage that prioritized space efficiency. This would allow them to create a comfortable living space within their budget.

We worked with this client to install thoughtful and unique upper shelves to improve storage and cultivate a unique look. The industrial shelving look was made up of metal piping and wood and was totally custom-made by our team. The living spaces are open-concept, making them seem larger in this 1,218-square-foot custom home.

Our skilled team also created a unique custom built-in bookshelf that is actually a sliding door. This innovative use of space improves storage without taking up precious square footage. The family loves this hidden door — it’s a little surprise for all who see it!

The detached garage we built for the client provides additional storage space while protecting vehicles from seasonal Wisconsin weather.

After this four month project, the family had a new space that included four private bedrooms and one and a half baths. We achieved overall space efficiency by combining smaller individual rooms with an  open-concept living space. We worked with the client to decide on light colored cabinets and dark countertops, which is a design choice experts use to make spaces feel larger than they are.
