These homeowners had been through the custom build process previously with a different contractor and were unhappy with the quality of the results. We are glad they didn’t give up and decided to collaborate with us on creating their dream home in Eleva!
We built this client a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house in just five months. We focused on highlighting the beautiful views of fields and trees in all directions by adding many windows that let in natural light. The clients wanted dark wood trim contrasting with light walls throughout the home to achieve a modern-yet-classic look. Incorporating tray ceilings created visually interesting focal points along with a sense of spaciousness.
We followed an open concept design on the main floor to create flow from the kitchen to the living room, making it easy to watch the game or interact with one another while cooking or cleaning up after a meal. The large island offers plenty of storage space, and the white and gray marbled countertops and dark gray cabinets create a modern farmhouse feel. The stainless steel appliances are easy to clean and don’t readily show smudges or fingerprints. As a finishing touch on the kitchen space, we strategically placed a vent hood to remove odors, smoke, and steam from the kitchen and improve interior air quality.
Our skilled team built a three-car garage to host the homeowner’s vehicles, gardening and landscaping tools, and outdoor equipment. The garage doors feature faux hinges and center handles, which is a nice touch that can elevate the look of an otherwise plain-looking garage door. We helped the client select this thoughtful design feature, adding to the high-end farmhouse look of their home.
The three bedrooms feature closets with custom shelving and hang bars, and the master bedroom has a large walk-in closet. High quality carpeting in the bedrooms was a great choice, helping to dampen noise and provide a warm and welcome surface when the family gets out of bed in the morning.
The large master bath features a vanity with ample counter space for getting ready for the day. The cabinet underneath will easily host makeup, hair tools, and personal hygiene items, limiting clutter on the counter. A laundry room features cabinets and a closet for increased storage space and ease of folding and organization.
Upon arriving at the home, the homeowners and their guests are greeted by a beautiful wood front door with a unique patterned glass panel that lets in light while maintaining privacy. This solid, high-end fixture will hold up to many years of use and exposure to the elements. We love adding unique personal touches like this to our custom home builds.
