Half Moon Lake Duplex

When a property owner was ready to capitalize on a small downtown lot in Eau Claire, they called us. They owned adjacent properties and needed to consolidate the real estate assets into one property, including sewer, water, and power. We brought everything together and designed a large duplex to house 8+ renters and offer great amenities to ensure they would have no trouble filling their leases!

This 6,720-square foot building features two units, each with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Huge windows on all sides let in tons of light, saving on heating and electricity bills in the winter.

Each side of this Eau Claire duplex has its own large porch, perfect for lounging and tailgating. We installed prepainted composite decking and LP siding - an engineered wood product- that can withstand the Wisconsin elements and Badger fans for decades to come.

Each side of the building has three floors, and every floor has a laundry room to ensure renters can conveniently manage laundry without having to leave home. Renters also have access to a storage space underneath the stairs that’s great for stashing bikes or skateboards.

Establishing appropriate parking and driveway space can be tricky when working with a residential rental in downtown. We implemented a wraparound driveway with multiple parking spots and access points making maneuvering easier.
